Alexandra is a versatile and experienced filmmaker specializing in all aspects of production, from planning to execution. With a background in art and creative writing, she has a unique eye for finding and shaping a story.
Over the years she has made sure to keep her portfolio as eclectic as possible so that she can always bring a fresh and unique perspective to every project she takes on. She has extensive experience in taking projects from pre-production to post, shooting branded content as well as documentary and narrative content. Most recently she has produced, shot, and edited a number of digital features for CNN.
In the past, she worked as lead editor and visual effects artist for a feature-length documentary that premiered at Sundance 2020 and was syndicated by PBS and then Netflix, “Coded Bias.” It got nominated for an Emmy in 2022. Additionally, she worked as a staff shooter, producer, animator, and editor for MTV for several years.
And between all of those jobs, she freelanced as a producer, shooter, animator, and editor for several TV shows including “Impractical Jokers” and “This week at the Comedy Cellar,” another feature-length documentary that premiered at Sundance 2022 and was nominated for an Emmy, “TikTok, Boom,” a horror film that got a New York Times write up that specifically compliments her cinematography, “Eradication,” the Biden Campaign in 2020, to name a few.
